First rule in politics; you don’t block people from discovering what you are doing because you just can’t, you don’t understand or know enough about social media not to mention that it’s just bad, bad politics to block people while you are asking them to vote for you.
Is this how you plan to deal with constituents who may have an opposing view?
Did you really think that people couldn’t find out what you are doing on social media … if you plan to use it?
Eric, people have many Twitter accounts … is that a surprise for you?
Would it be better to just return to backroom politics and leave social media for opened door politics and politicians?

Better to remain connected on social media and be suspected as opened and attentive to your future constituents, than to block them and confirm the opposite.
